Valid nonexpired photo I.D. (e.g. CA Driver's License, CA I.D., Passport) OR 2 credible witnesses
We accept Zelle, cash and credit/debit cards.
*Keep in mind that a convenience fee will be charged for credit/debit cards. Zelle and cash is preferred.

Non-Expired Valid photo IDs include:

The following IDs may also be shown to the Notary Public ONLY if it contains a photo, description of the person, signature of the person, and an identifying number. When in doubt, you can email us to confirm.
A valid consular identification document issued by a consulate from the applicant’s country of citizenship, or a valid passport from the applicant’s country of citizenship
An ID card issued by another state
A United States military ID card
An employee ID card issued by an agency or office of the State of California, or an agency or office of a city, county, or city and county in California
An ID card issued by a federally recognized tribal government
If you don't have a valid ID, you can bring 2 credible witnesses. We can also provide witnesses if needed but you have to contact us ahead of time.
No. the person that needs notarization must be physically present before the Notary Public. An exception to this is using a subscribing witness.
Are you able to do remote online notarization?
No. California Notary Publics can not do remote online notarization.
Yes. We can notarize documents that are not in English.
